Instructions

» Research/Preparation for Project 2:
annotations of 5 scholarly sources (see list below) to potentially use in wiki entries discussing popular/network culture

  • Include full citation for each entry
  • Annotations = 3 sentences (min.)
Discuss the source concisely and precisely, thoughtfully addressing 3 main questions:

Note: All discussion should be your commentary (no need to quote author)— considering the source material for this particular purpose/assignment; reflecting thoughtful and focused consideration of research materials (information literacy).

    1. Concisely state the main point of the source
(can summarize briefly; restate the main point/idea in your words)
    2. Identify the most useful and/or unique quality of this source
(“evaluative” in this sense): what ideas, terms, concepts, issues, etc. appear uniquely in this reading?
    3. What is the potential use/value/application for our project? (most important)
Propose how you might/plan to use this source in your wiki entry (be specific, even if speculating)

      — optional: discuss any limitations or concerns; if it is suitable/relevant (qualify); or/and if any clarification/elaboration is needed to better use this source concept/term.
