M 10/26 Workshop: Editing Wiki pages plus Screencast video
- discuss/update: editing vs. revising, using “criteria for good entries” collaborative doc
- intro: creating video (“screencast”) for entries
— recommended: SnagIt (Chrome extension = free, plus unlimited storage in Drive with CU Login) — Tutorial video
— also: Screncast-o-Matic , Jing / Screencast.com or EZVid (upload to YouTube)
*reminder: complete your 2 entries (draft), ready for classmate review
→ begin editing classmate page(s); log your work (on Wikia & personally)
W 10/26 hybrid work :
- add multimedia to your pages (particularly examples)
→ due 2pm: post links to your pages in comment below
(for progress update and for classmates to edit)- Classmate reply optional (participation bonus)
- Create screencast video — for one of your entries
— suggest: show partic. culture examples with voiceover commentary (2 min. video)
→ avoid redundancy with entry text (revise accordingly)
F 10/30 Workshop:
- Peer Feedback and Tech Support
→ revising after pages edited; collective criteria/standards
- discuss/focus: finalizing pages for publication
